Week 3 – September 23 – vs Buffalo Bills

Week 4 – September 27 – @ Los Angeles Rams (Thursday Night)

Week 5 – October 7 – @ Philadelphia Eagles

Week 6 – October 14 – vs Arizona Cardinals

Week 7 – October 21 – @ New York Jets

Week 8 – October 28 –  vs New Orleans Saints (Sunday Night)

Week 14 – December 10 – @ Seattle Seahawks (Monday Night)

Week 15 – December 16 – vs Miami Dolphins

Week 16 – December 23 – @ Detroit Lions

Week 17 – December 30 – vs Chicago Bears

At first glance, we have a really tough five game stretch to open the season. The easiest of those five games would be against the Bills who made the playoffs last year.

Our BYE week is week 10 so right in the middle of the season. This is a good time to get our guys healthy if they have any lingering injuries to finish the rest of the season off strong.

We have four primetime games this season in weeks 4, 8, 12, and 14 against the Rams, Saints, Packers, and Seahawks respectively.

And in what is turning out to be an annual game, we face the Chicago Bears in U.S Bank Stadium to close the season. Hopefully, we have playoff seeding all wrapped up by then and can give our main guys some rest.

To give a way too early prediction, I can see the Vikings going 12-4. Being that we have a 1st placed schedule this year, we knew the level of competition would only get harder during the regular season. But, all in all, this was a pretty decent schedule release for the Minnesota Vikings.
